This is an early opalescent, paperweight technique art glass shade by Tiffany Studios. The 5" high shade's base glass layer is a very light aqua-green, which is slightly ribbed. This is a Tiffany Studios off white, slightly ribbed calcite art glass shade, with a two toned pulled feather decoration. The shade is 4 7/8" high and has a 2 1/4" fitter. On the rim for the fitter is engraved: "L.C.T.". Note: the cream base has just a hint of green. The gold border of the feathers has blue highlights. The shade is in excellent condition.
A Tiffany Studios Favrile vase in a triangular bottle shape, with slightly flatten sides which gives a wonderful sense of depth and of modern sculpture. The decoration is deep blue flame with clouds of dark green, magenta, mauve, pink and blue. The vase is 6.5" high, with the width, at the broadest point across, 2.74". Louis C. Tiffany perhaps intended for this lovely Golden Tiffany Favrile Decanter to hold a Liqueur, or maybe a cordial. Or the decanter might simply have been designed as a decorative piece. This lemon yellow Tiffany studios Floriform has etched on it's base, the little letter "o" indicating that it was one of very few made. the pulled feather magenta iridescence at the top of the bowl; the clear green stem, and decorated base all contribute to its beauty and uniqueness.
