Perfectly matched are these 3", 2 1/2" fitter, Steuben mint green pulled feather over white art glass shades. The openings are approximately 3 3/4". Each has the Steuben silver fleur de lea mark in silver on the inside of the rim. Each is in excellent condition, with only a slight roughness to edge of one shade's rim. The roughness is completely covered by the fitter.
From my personal collection is offered this stunning Quezal Glass. it is, an unusual bell shaped shade, with a gold hooked feather, with a border of deep, lime green, over calcite. The interior is iridescent gold.
The real mastery of Louis C. Tiffany lies in the execution and the uniqueness of the most simple of shades. For this 4.25" high bell shaped gold Favrile shade, Tiffany Studios has created an illusion of a window pane pattern by alternating the layers of glass.
