| Frederick Carder of Steuben was the first to introduce this particular version of the Tulip shape in Art Glass Shades. This 6" high Tulip shade is gently ribbed and has the unusual goldenrod yellow color, which in bright lights picks up a red gold highlight. The pulled feather is tipped in a bright Spring Green. The decoration is over a pure white calcite. Please note that the green shadow on the white base is due to the decoration from the other side being visible through the fragile, thin glass of the shade. It is truly a gorgeous decorative art item. The rim for the fitter is 2.25" and has the remnants of the Steuben Fleur-de-lis logo. The shade is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other blemishes. | |||||||
